Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir in Colorado

The Story: Coming home from a camping trip at May Queen, we drove by this reservoir and decided to check it out. I walked quite a ways to get away from everyone else, walk down the rocks to get as close as I could to the water to get this shot. Thankfully, the water was rather still, and made for a great shot of the mountain and sky reflection.
Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado, Fine Art Print

The Story: I drove from Fort Collins to Aspen, CO, to get up before sunrise to be at this lake before sunrise so I could capture the lake as still as it could be. It was cloudy and overcast, and I wasn’t sure the sky was going to turn-out. Thankfully, it did. Please enjoy this rare Colorado landscape fine art print of the Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado, as it’s hours in the making.
Fine Art Print of Alberta Falls in RMNP, Colorado

The Story: Hiking to Alberta Falls in Rocky Mountain Park. I was this waterfall and took many photos. For this photo, I decided to straddle the water. It’s a rather wide waterfall. I could have slipped on the wet rocks. Thankfully, I didn’t. As you’re looking at this fine art print on your wall, imagine standing over the waterfall, as I did.
Sunrise over Mountain Bike Race at Lory State Park, Fort Collins, CO

The Story: This is one of those rare fine art Lory State Park mountain bike prints I bet no other photographer has. I love to ride my mountain bike. I got-up really early before this 40 in the Fort mountain bike race was to start. As quickly as I could, I rode by mountain bike up the trail to get into position to get these racers starting their long 40 mile mountain bike race. Thankfully, the sunrise was epic. If you’re looking for a fine art print of mountain bikes, let me know.
Sunrise over Lory State Park, Horsetooth Reservoir, and Fort Collins

The Story: This fine art print of the Fort Collins, Colorado, landscape, was taken from within Lory State Park looking east. It looks over Lory State Park, Horsetooth Reservoir, and the city of Fort Collins.
Fine Art Print of Horsetooth Falls in Horsetooth Mountain Open Space

The Story: This is of Horsetooth Falls in Horsetooth Mountain Open Space just outside of Fort Collins, Colorado. This waterfall doesn’t run year-round – only the spring. It’s a relatively short hike to get to the falls. I hiked there specifically there to get a smooth photo of the waterfall.
Alberta Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park

The Story: My sister and I hiked to Alberta Falls in the spring. As you can see in this fine art photo, there was still ice around. There were a lot of other folks there, so I decided to try to get a more unusual photo of the falls. So, we hiked around, off the beaten path to get this photo, beautifully framed by the pine trees.
Wild Trout in Stream

The Story: I don’t personally care to fish, but I do like to see fish. While out on a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, heading back to the car, we took a small diversion. I saw this brook trout in a shallow stream. I just happened to have my circular polarizing filter with me, which helps cut through glare, such as in a stream. This brook trout fine art print should be enjoyed by any angler.
Yellow Aspen Leaf on Green Moss Next to Stream

The Story: I know this Colorado fall fine art print of a yellow aspen leaf on green moss next to a running river is a bit cliche, but I couldn’t resist. I spent several minutes changing my tripod so it looked straight down, making sure the leaf, moss, and river were all on view. My nephew was with me. I’m sure he was getting impatient. LOL
Sunset at Glendo State Park, Wyoming

The Story: On a mountain skills clinic at Glendo State Park, WY, offered by Wyoming Mountain Bike Camps, it was suggested I head over the Glendo Reservoir. I’m glad I took their advice, as the view and sunset was amazing.
